
I illustrated the board game Zoomino, created by Grégoire Largey, for children aged 4 to 7, published by Gigamic and known as Tetaki in France.
It is a fun game where you create cute animals by combining domino-like tiles. The goal is to form real animals and frame them for points, but you’ll often end up with funny combinations of imaginary creatures.
It was challenging to design the animals with necks of the same size so that they could match when another head is placed on top of their body. Here is the final design of the animals.

I carefully selected the colors to make the game more accessible to people with color blindness. For instance, the difficulty of distinguishing between green and red due to Deuteranopia is avoided by using a magenta tone instead of red.
